JD and Kelly Lucas operate Hartville Locker Service in downtown Historic Hartville, just off of Route 43.Their address is 119 Sunnyside St. Box 7, Hartville Ohio 44632. Hartville Locker offers vacuum packaging for $.45/lb for whole beef or sides of beef ( 1/2 beef )and $.47/lb for split sides of beef ( 1/4 beef ).There is a $40.00 KILL FEE and storage freezer space can be rented $12.00 a month for 7 square feet. Your meat is flash frozen and the individual packages are placed in large, clear, heavy bags and labeled with your name/date. Additional processing options include meat tenderizing for certain meat cuts (.40/lb), rump roast rolling ( for a $2.00 fee) and hamburger patties ($.40/lb of patty weight- the default packaging for hamburger at most processors is bulk tubes or bulk trays of 1,1-1/2 or 2 lbs) unless the customer requests patties. Stew meat is cut in 1" or 2" chunks for $.40/lb.

Duma Meats offers custom processing in the Mogadore/ Akron area at 857 Randolph Rd.Mogadore Oh. Vacuum processing is offered at $.45/ lb for beef sides and $.47/ lb for half sides (1/4 beef).The kill fee is $40.00. Hamburger patties are $.40/ lband they offer free tenderizing on certain cuts of steaks ( round steaks, etc.).Dave will process steaks into one per package for $.48/lb.
